Going to get our Boris (Drinka Pinta Milka Day of Tintagel Winds)
On our way from Nice to Sciez, on the Lake of Geneva, to meet our puppy.
We're so excited!
Plenty of snow in the Val d'Aosta.
.
It's not far from the Mont Blanc, so we're almost there.
.
Almost two hours too late we arrive in Sciez, at Tintagel Winds Labradors.
.
Mrs. Felicity Leith-Ross welcomes us and we meet her wonderful Labradors.
.
And there he is, finally! Our Boris, with his two sisters!
What a beautiful boy!
.
Jean and I are so happy with this chap!
Thank you so much, Felicity, for letting me have this great dog!

Boris' first day in Nice

We left the next morning at 11 a.m. The weather was cold and grey. We decided to go back through France, via Lyon. The first hour of the trip Boris was on Jean's lap, but then he became too heavy and Jean and Boris' moved to the back seat, where it was more comfortable for the both of them. Boris'didn't give an inch; he didn't mind being in a car.

Poops and pees during the breaks: Boris behaved like a perfect dog!

At 7.45 p.m. we finally arrived in Nice. I immediately took Boris for a walk, but he didn't need to relief himself. Then we had to find him a place to sleep, because we didn't expect to take him home with us. The bathroom seemed to be the best place, but Boris thought otherwise. He wanted to be with us. We didn't respond to his objections, and soon he fell asleep.

The next morning Boris woke me up at 6.00 a.m. I walked him for a bit, but he didn't need to do anything. Boris went back to the bathroom reluctantly, and I went back to bed for a couple of hours. At 8.00 a.m. I fed him and took him for a walk in the park. All new impressions for Boris: the city traffic, people with dogs, pigeons, etc. Boris took it like a hero.

Then it was time to get all the stuff we need to make Boris' and our lives more comfortable and relaxed, like a crate, the right food (ProPlan Puppy Chicken and Rice), toys, and tissue paper for little accidents on the floor.

After a second walk in the park at 12.30 p.m. - very interesting for Boris - he is now resting in his crate, without serious objections. Time for me to write this little story.
