.We're moving to Brighton!
.
As from 14th October 2010 we will be living in Brighton!
.

Joe Batt's Arm Labradors has a long history, and most of it took place in the Netherlands, where I produced 26 litters of beautiful, healthy Labradors.
Now, in 2010, we're moving to Brighton (UK), with only one Labrador: our lovely boy Boris (Drinka Pinta Milka Day of Tintagel Winds).
We're going to show our boy, and if the British breeders like his qualities, he will be available as a stud dog to approved bitches. Wish him luck! :-)

28 November 2009: Boris (Drinka Pinta Milka Day of Tintagel Winds) completely unexpectedly
becomes Second (Excellent, 2e) in the Open Class!
.
We actually came for his "confirmation", a simple test of a minute or two, to check if the
dog complies with the breedstandard -  his microchip number will be checked and
his at withers are measured. (Boris had a nice 59 cm.:-))
But my French isn't that good and it seemed I also entered him in the Open Class.
And in that Open Class he, a newcomer at shows without any ring training whatsoever,
became second at the age of just fifteen months!
A complete surprise, and we opened a nice bottle of champagne to celebrate it!

He will get his confirmation on November 28th, one day after he's turned 15 months.
.
A day out with Boris at Lake St. Cassien
.
Boris loves the water here - it's not salty, like the Mediterranean
.
He plays and swims all day and loves to retrieve tennis balls from the water
.
We stayed all day - Boris is snoring on his bed now

The first holiday pictures are here!
.
This is Murphy (Kid Creole of Joe Batt's Arm), son of my Ollie (Mardas Midnight Black)
and my Sandy (French Vanila A Lot To B Tnkful For). Murphy is a real boat dog and knows
the Frisian waters on the back of his hand.
.
Murphy en Clever, his new buddy, after Marci died on the respectable age of 16.
.
This is Cuba (Sweet Jane of Joe Batt's Arm), daughter of Ollie (Mardas Midnight Black)
and Shona (Farbourne's Wild Irish Rose). Isn't she a beauty?
.
Meet Sam (Irish Sam of Joe Batt's Arm), son of Sailor (Rocheby Royal Marine) and
Grace of Joe Batt's Arm. He is almost 7 now, and such a nice happy chap!

 .BORIS IS HOT
Who can blame him? It has been around 35°C here for quite a while.
We're also hot, but unlike Boris we don't have to wear his fur coat all day.
